ONE SONG

Prayer, Meditation and Co-Creation for Cetaceans
(whales & dolphins)

In June of last year, we sent a simple prayer to a small email list, with the hope of unifying positive planetary energy on behalf of the Whales & Dolphins. During the time of the "prayer window" people tuned in from all around the world and many amazing events transpired - TV ads were sponsored, songs written, films inspired and groups of people took time to come together and share positive energy toward something they believe in.

This experience inspired the birth of the "ONE SONG" Prayer Project. It only takes a fraction of 1% of a population to tangibly shift consciousness on a massive scale, and as we unify our intention with a higher cause, we open the doorway to MIRACLES.

"We cannot solve a problem with the same level of consciousness that created it" (Einstein), so let us commit to raising our state of BEING, so that we may see our challenges through new eyes, and take unified action from that place.  Not to push against or complain about what isn’t right, but to fill ourselves with visions of all that is or could be… As we do this together, we take part in the healing of our planet - from the inside out.

We choose to begin One Song this week as it coincides with significant global events concerning whales, their safety and freedom in the water. In some sense it appear the whales’ existence teeters in the hands of politicians, but we take this moment to send a NEW message.

Whales and Dolphins have lived in PEACE on the planet for millions of years. As elders of the planet and stewards of the sea, they provide a golden model for intuitive intelligence, play and community. They are integral to the biological balance of the planet, and as spoken pure and simply in a recent film interview with children, "We need them in our world."

We invite ALL who feel inspired to join us over the next 22 days as we take time each day to align with the essence of Whales and Dolphins and create new energy of preservation, celebration and gratitude for vital presence on the planet.

1. TUNE IN - Set aside some time each day to do something that FEELS good and brings you into a state of positive connection, peace and gratitude.
2. SEE THE HIGHEST - While in this state of BEING, take a few minutes to SEE and FEEL our water planet flourishing! See the whales, dolphins and other precious marine life swimming freely, safely and joyously in pure clean, clear and quiet OCEANS.
3. EXPRESS IT - If you feel inspired, CREATE a simple outward expression of your vision. (a song, a painting, a drawing in the sand, a group gathering around a fire,  etc.)
4. LIVE IT - One of the greatest lessons we learn from the whales and dolphins is simply to BE MORE LIKE THEM. To enjoy the flow of life, to play, to cooperate, to love each other and to shine our own light in such a way that our very presence opens people’s hearts.

33 DAYS OF GLOBAL PRAYER AND VISUALIZATION IN CELEBRATION, PRESERVATION AND GRATITUDE OF WHALES AND DOLPHINS…

SINGING THE SAME SONG.
In the Humbpack whale family, it is the males who sing. Their song is deeply complex and poetic with verse and chorus, and much like human pop music, it constantly changes and evolves over time. Science has learned much about their song, but one unexplained fact remains… that even though the Humpback’s song is constantly changing and the whales themselves are spread all around the globe, at any given moment, ALL of the male humpbacks around the world - from Hawaii to Antarctica - are all singing the same song.

Whales and Dolphins have lived in PEACE on the planet for millions of years. As elders of the planet, they provide a golden model for intuitive intelligence, play and community. They are integral to the biological balance of the planet. Their migration trails and song lines thread a web of LIGHT under the sea, and right now they are calling for us to do the same above ground. TO STEP UP AS ONE HUMAN FAMILY and find our voice of UNITY. To learn what is POSSIBLE when we consciously SING THE SAME SONG,
FOR THE GOOD OF ALL.

During the month of June, 2006, the International Whaling Commission meets in St. Kitts to discuss the future of scientific and commercial whaling. There is a major push among whaling nations to re-instigate commercial whaling worldwide. In November of this year, a scientific Japanese whaling fleet plans to begin killing 800 endangered Southern Hemisphere Humpbacks. Well over 2,000,000 whales have been killed in this way in the past 50 years.  Some say that the whales and dolphins are "leaving the planet", but it seems they are being pushed out at a time of planetary awakening when they are needed most.
 
IT IS TIME TO JOIN TOGETHER AND SEND A NEW MESSAGE.

 The energy of ONE AWAKE PERSON permeates across a whole city. When two or more are gathered for one purpose a WAVE BEGINS. It only takes a fraction of 1% of a population to tangibly shift the energy of a whole area. THIS IS THE SCIENCE OF THE FUTURE - unifying our hearts and minds for a common cause. Working with the Laws of the Universe to choose a higher path and WE ALL PLAY A VITAL ROLE! The simple act of unifying positive energy on a massive scale always opens the gates of pure Source energy and healing to flow in. The whales have given us a powerful opportunity to do that right now!

IT STARTS WITH A PRAYER.

Within virtually every culture in the planet, prayer is a doorway into the realms of the miracle. Scientific and metaphysical research alike attests to the very real power of unified, feeling based intention and prayer.  This is how our ancestors across many cultures knew to create. By embodying the energy and vibration of that which we desire, we open a doorway for it to emerge in 3-D.

And so, from the center of our hearts and the heart of the Cetacean Community has risen the seed of a prayer movement to help ignite a SHIFT in consciousness and propel humanity into unified action on behalf of the whales and dolphins.  Not to build a wall of resistance against the threats imposed upon Cetaceans. Not to plead and protest from a place of lack and loss, but to SEE and FEEL and CREATE in our bodies pure freedom and preserved vitality for Cetaceans - so deeply and powerfully together, that we can’t help but pull humanity into alignment with it.
 
IT IS TIME for US to step up, connect and play at a whole new level. Let us begin with a prayer.

33 DAYS OF UNIFIED PRAYER IN CELEBRATION, PRESERVATION AND GRATITUDE FOR THE "CETACEAN NATION"
(WHALES AND DOLPHINS).

FROM 24 May - 25 JUNE, WE CALL AND INVITE ALL WHO FEEL INSPIRED TO GATHER EACH DAY TO SEND A MESSAGE OF PRAYER AND GRATITUDE FOR THE WHALES AND DOLPHINS. IT DOES NOT TAKE VERY MANY UNIFIED HEARTS TO SHIFT CONSCIOUSNESS ON A MASSIVE LEVEL - LET US SEE WHAT WE CAN CREATE TOGETHER NOW! ARE YOU READY? IT’S TIME TO UNITE!!!

YESTERDAY AFTERNOON MY 6 YEAR OLD SON AND I DREW A GIANT PICTURE IN THE SAND OF A WHALE, DOLPHIN AND A MAN SWIMMING TOGETHER. THIS WAS OUR PRAYER. AT ROUGHLY THE SAME TIME A MAORI FRIEND OF OURS IN NEW ZEALAND SANG HER TRADITIONAL "KARANGA" WELCOME SONG TO THE WHALES AS SHE WALKED ALONG HER BEACH. AT ROUGHLY THE SAME TIME, ANOTHER FRIEND WENT SURFING WITH DOLPHINS AND ANOTHER PLAYED A SONG ON HIS GUITAR FOR HIS NEWBORN NEICE.  WHAT IS YOUR UNIQUE WAY TO EMBODY, EXPRESS AND HONOR THE CETACEAN SPIRIT?!

 WHATEVER YOU CAN DO IN THIS TIME THAT FEELS GOOD - THAT FEELS ‘GOD’ - AND HOLDS THE LOVING CETACEAN RESONANCE, DO IT! TAKE TIME IN YOUR DAY TO SEE THEM SOARING SAFE AND FREE. TO IMAGINE AND FEEL IN YOUR OWN BODY WHAT IT WOULD FEEL LIKE TO EMBRACE AND SWIM WITH THEM TOGETHER.
TO REMEMBER A TIME WHEN WE LIVED IN HARMONIOUS COMMUNION WITH EACH OTHER AND WITH THE MOTHER EARTH…
LET US CALL THIS TRUTH BACK INTO BEING NOW!
 
THE 33 DAY VIGIL BEGAN ON THE 24TH OF MAY, 2006 AND CULMINATES ON THE 25TH OF JUNE WITH A WORLD PRAYER MEDITATION AT 6:00AM AUSTRALIAN EAST COAST TIME.

AS WE COMMIT TO JOIN AROUND THE GLOBE EACH DAY, WE BUILD A RHYTHM OF LIGHT - JUST AS THE WHALES AND DOLPHINS HAVE DONE FOR MILLIONS OF YEARS!
 
IT DOES NOT MATTER WHERE YOU COME FROM OR WHAT YOU RELIGIOUS BACKGROUND. WE ARE ALL NEEDED AND AS THE SAYING GOES, "MANY HANDS MAKE LIGHT WORK!"
 
 
Let us sing a new song together and light the pathway for a NEW EARTH - for the Whales, for the Planet and for all of God’s children.

 "The greatest gift and service you can share with us (and your selves!) is to embody the Delphic and Whale spirit in how you live. BE LIKE US. Bring joy and light into your world. Become beacons of magnetic peaceful resonance that cause hearts to open wherever you go, in all that you do. Find the source of LIGHT within and let that shine. This is your greatest gift - BEING who you really are each moment of the day.
"From that place of joy within your self, the next best thing you can do for us is to simply SEE US FREE. Fill your hearts and minds not with images of our destruction and demise, but with images of our sacred song lines and communal ways being honored and celebrated in the world. Invite us to be here with you. See us in communion and celebration with your own race as we all come into the full realization that
